I'm Mal Beaton. I spent 21 years in the Australian Army, Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RASigs), also known as "Chooks". I am very proud of my service and have made many lifelong friends from the military.

I also have an interest in preserving my father's history and early life. I think he had a fascinating upbringing on a sheep station in the middle of the Murchison, WA, basically at the centre of a triangle between Cue, Meekatharra and Sandstone, called Cogla Downs.
